Continue building your skills and expanding your kit bag to take your coaching to the next level.
Coaching is a journey of continuous improvement…
It doesn’t just stop with gaining an accreditation. Most awarding bodies require you to continue your development and recommend a minimum number of hours per year for instance.
As an accredited coach, our knowledge, skills and confidence grows over time and we evolve into a well-rounded individual.
How do we keep ourselves at the forefront of our game?
How do we mix things up to keep it fresh for our clients and us as coaches too?
In these 7 mini-workshops, we share some simple techniques, with proven results, that take your coaching from good to great, this will transform your coaching interventions, empower your coachees and deliver fast and tangible results and enabling ownership of their own development.
Combining the gold standard of coaching with leading-edge, well-evidenced concepts and sharing best practices.
7 Sessions to take your coaching to the next level
In our 90-minute bite-size CPD workshops, we focus on specific areas that will have the greatest impact. From feedback from the EQA Foundation Award “Coaching with Purpose” programme, our delegates have told us they are hungry for more!!
So, we have put together 7 mini-workshops on various topics.
In this session, we focus our attention on the Trust Equation. In September 2001, David Maister, Charles Green and Robert Galford first published their best-selling book, The Trusted Advisor. This model allows the coach and coachee to explore this concept and where trust may be getting in the way of their relationships, good working practice and decision making processes.
- The Trust Equation
- Self Orientation
- Truth v Trust
- Limiting Beliefs
- Challenge Questions
GROW of course by Sir John Whitmore is one of the most widely used and best-known coaching models, yet there are many more than can provide a very different approach, process and outcomes. In this mini-session, we explore 5 more.

In this session, we focus on a powerful tool. visualisation. This requires time and space to contimplate, to think and to explore much deeper than before!

Circle of Influence/Concern
We look at this tool in the 8 Habits session too, but, here we go much deeper. Again, from the concept, the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, we explore in exercise format exactly how we as a coach can utilise this great tool to develop self-awareness.

Drama triangle, Empowerment Triangle and Ego States
In this session, we focus on the Karpman Drama Triangle. A fascinating look at the connection of power in conflicts, human behaviour and communication.
- Drama Triangle
- Empowerment Triangle
- Victims to Creators
- Rescuers to Coaches
- Persecutors to Challengers
- Ego States
In this session, we encourage you to “ZOOM OUT” to get an outside view of a situation before making a decision. This is a great technique to use with your coachee that can reassure them about decision making or even question their rationale or logic.
- Your own perspective
- The other party’s perspective
- An impartial observer’s perspective
8 Habits of a Highly Effective Coach/Using the MTQPLUS
