Coaching not counselling. A new version of masculinity
With guest Adrian Dakers
Biography Adrian Dakers – Co-Founder of Little Blackbird
Ade Dakers is the founder of Little Blackbird Ltd, an organisation dedicated to improving the quality of human connection through better communication, emotional intelligence, vulnerability and culture change.
With over 20 years’ experience in behavioural change, leadership development and experiential learning, Ade designs and delivers highly engaging programmes that strengthen relationships, challenge unhelpful cultural beliefs and create lasting behavioural change. Little Blackbird is particularly recognised for its pioneering work around masculinity, social value and organisational culture.
Ade’s work is deeply personal. Following the birth of his son in 2020 with a life-threatening heart condition and the tragic loss of his close friend Mike to suicide in 2022, he became even more committed to challenging the belief that vulnerability is weakness. These experiences continue to shape his mission to create spaces where honesty, compassion and meaningful conversations can thrive.
He is also the host of the Tackling it Together podcast, where he explores vulnerability, masculinity and the power of authentic human connection.
